an eventful day off

Today, Me and Michele both had off days, so we decided to take the roaring camp train to see the redwoods! that's the train that passes our apartments every day. it's one of those traditional type trains too... it goes choo choo.... and runs on a "real"road. lol... cool.

that's us on the train.

Anyway, the train took us up to the redwoods, and then dropped us off at some station place where we were supposed to go and look at the trees. well... me and michele are city girls... we ventured about 10 minutes into the woods... then too many mosquitoes... we started feeling itchy... so... we took the requisite photos and escaped to the comfort of the gift shop.

after like 1 hr, the train took us back down to the boardwalk. we went to look for Valente on the boardwalk cos.. we were going to have a lobster dinner on the wharf that night!

omg... the lobster that nite was fantastic! it cost only like $10.90 per person, and we each got one full lobster. yummy... slurp slurp... where can you get lobster for that price in singapore???

after that, we were supposed to go to a party... but we were met with a surprise at La bahia. Michele's french canadian friends were passing through to go to LA, and they popped by to say hi! so we kinda changed our plans to go for the party and hung out with them instead. it wasn't very fun cos they were all chattering away in french, and me valente and david didn't know what the hell they were talking about.
i got some henna, and so we tried out the henna.

I was kinda pissed off at valente cos he left with david without saying anything to go to safeway to get beer. sometimes, i really hate all this crap. why do i care so much? i don't know. i don't want to care. it would be easier. *shrugs* i wonder if he feels the same way. but sometimes he really pisses me off.
