good morning, world...

oh wow.. it's 5am... so early! or late... awake not by choice... i have just finished doing the design for the megalife youth alpha prayer card. had to get it done by today noon... oh well... a commitment is a commitment. oh neway... yesterday (thurs) i went shopping... bought a new bikini! it's really pretty...

pretty rite??? hee hee.. and it actually fits and doesnt make my already non-existent boobs disappear! wahahaha... yah i just think it's very pretty... oh man... that means that i'm gonna live on air for the next few days... :(
but... it's worth it! hahaz... oh man... i'm such a spendthrift...

going to sleep now... will wake up in 6 hrs time for dimsum lunch with my sister... yummy... i'm such a pig... *oink*

most interesting farewell meal

omg... i think this is the most interesting farewell meal so far... and will be the most interesting one too!
k... 1stly, janice and eunice tay "kidnapped" me... and brought me somewhere... and when i could finally see where we were, we were by the side of pierce reservior. and they had prepared a mini BBQ for us! wow... thanx both of you for going to so much trouble.... it was an amazing meal. SO FUN! just sitting there BBQing, eating, stomping on cockroaches, and playing with matches...

and then we went to the other side to look at couples making out.. i never knew that if a car has newspaper over the windows, it means that the couple in it is doing "it". well... we learn new things everyday! haha... quite funny... i wonder why they like to do it in cars..., isn't it rather uncomfortable? according to janice it's the thrill of the public place, and the risk of getting caught... oh well.. to each his own... haha.. makes life more interesting for kaypohs like ME!

THEN... we went to see satallites... rather satallite dishes... quite a pretty sight... looks like something out of a space movie...

all in all it was an exciting night... thanx to janice and eunice! luv you both!!!!!!!

neway i've decided that the silly zippyimages.com is having some kind of feud wif blogger... and refuses to hotlink any of the pics... so i'm using pix8.net. it does the same thing and works just as well...

oh... my room is not in much better shape... it still looks like war torn area... where are the peace-keeping troops when you need them!!!!!

yesterday the pictures couldnt be seen.. it was SO irritating... neway that's why i decided to change the entire template altogether... hehez... this one is also quite nice huh... i think it's really pretty.

yeah... yesterday went to sentosa... i'm sun burnt! i haven't been sunburnt in like ages and ages... but yesterday... i got red splotches on my legs and on my chest... and worst still... i had an ugly zigzag line on my chest... sigh... it was un-glam... seriously un-glam... hahaz... fortunately today the redness is gone and i'm nice and tan all over... wahahaha...

i think being tan makes me look slimmer... must be some kind of illusion.. but it does!!! hehe...

then went shopping for a bit after sentosa... went to bugis... bought a pair of PINK rubber slippers...

very cute... for only $5.90! heh... then realised that they were exactly the same as the ones my friend had.. and he bought his for $5... oh well... and i thought i got a great deal at $5.90...haha

neway i'm gonna earn some cash before i leave... ex-tuition student decided she needed some math tuition... so i'm doing a crash course for her in math before her exam... goodie more pocket money... :)
just gotta have tuition almost everyday lorz...

did i mention i bought all these beads... and they're so pretty but i have no idea what to do with them? hahaz...

bettina is packing her room now... do i hear an AMEN from ee yang? yeah... pretty soon it'll be nice and neat and much more spacious... wahahaha.... i betta go back and pack... will post again later..

50 1st dates was quite funny... actually.. poor girl... everyday she's traumatised once she wakes up in the morning... everyday she can't remember her husband or her daughter... sad life....

the surprise party that was almost not a surprise...

today was the day of berinda's bday party! hee... it was quite exciting... planning the surprise and all... it was ALMOST not a surprise anymore.. due to some PEOPLE.... (shall not mention names... but you know who you are)... who decided to call/sms/talk to her about the party... asking about the location, the time, blah blah blah... *rolls eyes* do they not know the meaning of a SURPRISE? hahaz... neway it went quite well, and it was definitely a success!

ooh.. and i can finally write about ber's present... omg... i like it so much... hahaz... when i tried it on...(just to see if the size fits) i was so tempted to get one for myself! tho i have no idea what i'd do it with... but wellz... it's just SOOOOO pretty.... sigh...

wanted to dye my hair yesterday... but decided not to since i had a splitting headache... i want nice hair... when shall it be...

gonna go sun tanning tmr... and sentosa on tues... will i get too black? :P... i guess i'll find out when the time comes...

digest number 2 - excitement --> depression

today was supposed to be an exciting day.... today my exams finally END! it's the end of all studies for me... not more taking exams for the rest of my life unless i really want to... wahahaha *bliss*
AND chomp chomp opens after 7 months of renovation....! it's wonderful.... finally....after 7 mths of waiting... it was really really 7 agonising months.... no bbq stingray, no chilli sotong, no oyster ommelette, no humm... finally today it opened.... i ate SO much... woooweee

however, it was also quite a depresing day... i think i failed today's exam. AHHHHH... it was horrible... omg... mental block at the 1st qn... think i wrote 0.5 pages of sense and 1.5 pages of rubbish. pure rubbish. omg... sigh... okie... i've gotten over it... guess i can't possibly fail the entire module. i PRAY i wun fail the module. having to come back from USA for one extra semester to take 1 freaking module is NOT good... a D at least... a D........ pleaseeeeee

2nd traumatic incident was after the exam... had a short talk with a friend... found out about some stuff that has happened in her life. some stuff that i don't exactly agree with, but i still love her. {u'r still very very close to my heart!}

yeah.. so the excitement was kinda overthrown by depression... oh wellz. life will get better... as aaron says... "where's ur faith?" yeah.. so FAITH... i trust, i believe, EVERYTHING will work out for good.

okie this shall be the 1st post since i got everything all laid out nicely and all...

wow... i think my blog looks fab! hahaz.. am i allowed to say that? or is that too bhb... oh wellz watever.. it's my blog i can say whatever i want. :P

okiez... basically the whole point of this blog is because bettina is going far far away to the wilderness that is AMERICA. why? you may ask... oh... the reason is cos she's graduating and she wants a big BIG adventure before she has to go out and work. :). thus, bettina is going to Santa Cruz, California on a Work and Travel Program, where she will be working at the Beach Boardwalk there. (where she hopes to meet hunky guys... *drool*) haha... or maybe not...

bettina is going to be spending 4 months working there and then travel around USA for another 1 month or so. it's really going to be the adventure of her LIFE and she's just SOOOO excited!

however... bettina is also sad.... and scared... arrgh i can't talk in 3rd person anymore...
okay as i was saying.. i'm gonna be sad.. cos i'll gonna leave my family and my friends back here for the 1st time.... it's gonna be 5 months away. and i'll miss all u guys SOOOOOOO much... u guys were here for me all the time when i needed you... and now... i can't imagine not having you around when i'm having fun, or when i'm bored, or when i'm feeling miserable. i'm also a little apprehensive about meeting new people... i can be shy (dun laugh... i can be ok...) and having to make friends all over again is a rather daunting prospect to face.

but, i'm also looking forward very much to the independence, and the fun, the new cultures, and having the greatest adventure of my life. i think that this experience will be very enriching, and i'll remember these 5 months for the rest of my life!
