Shopping, eating, shopping, eating... in Hong Kong!

Me, jess and wendy at the airport. we're leaving for Hong Kong!!!

we arrive at Hong Kong airport. the airport's really modern! kinda looks like changi airport.

Jessica!!!! shopping already... tsk tsk tsk... just joking... that's pretty much what hong kong is good for anyway. shopping and eating

Me and Wendy went crazy at this shop in Tsim Sha Tsui. See the one with the neon green sign? Tsim Sha Tsui is just about 10 minutes walk from our hotel, with lotsa nice little shops there...

niu zha mian at one of the restaurants in Tsim Sha Tsui. (beef intestines never tasted this good!)

french toast and milk tea for breakfast... very satisfying.

in Jordan MTR station. looks like our MRT stations huh. but it's more high-tech i think. the signs have blinking lights to show where you are now and which side the door will open on. cool huh.

me and wendy wanted to cut our hair! so we stepped into this little salon in mongkok. this is the pre-haircut me! :)

cha siew fan... tender juicy cha siew, crunchy leafy vegetables, and fluffy white rice! yummy!!

all dressed up... where are they going?

a club in Lan Gui Fang called the Edge. reminds me of Phuture. HongKongers don't club much... there's a lot of little bars here filled to the brim with ang mohs. and so many members only clubs. so in the end we paid to go into the edge. the music is pretty good!

times square in Hong Kong. different from Times Square in NY... i like NY better... but we ate wonderful Japanese food in a restaurant here.... yummy.

mango dessert... mangos are really popular in HK! there's there's branches of this shop all over the island... like around every corner. kinda like how you can find a Macdonalds outlet around every corner in Singapore.

in the bus on the way to the airport... we got cheap caps from nu ren jie :)

in the plane ... time passes too quickly when you're on holiday... valuair- the food sux but otherwise just like any other airline.

For more pics, go to my Hong Kong album. It's hosted on shutterfly. cool site for creating photo albums. works with picasa too!
