last weekend

this pic is a story in itself! We had a scandalous couple in the front who were sleeping like this. in the exact same position... someone else snapped a photo of them... so we thought we'd imitate them! too bad i don't have the other scandalous pic here... ;)



We reach our hotel... a little too early for lunch! anyway here's us at the hotel rennasiance for lunch. the food is not great... but today they had sausages... the real kind... not the cheapo frozen type... yummy. think i had 5.. haha

Anyway, so we had to do this treasure hunt thing where we had to run around Malacca trying to figure out the clues and take photos of the different locations. we took most of the pics using a disposable camera... but vonnie took some using her cam too.

we had to go to this place where they made and sold bound feet shoes.... like really little shoes for chinese royalty who bound their feet... so cool rite? very expensive... wonder how they make money...

They must be so used to this... they even offered to take out the shoes and let us hold them! haha

Oh yeah... before i forget to mention, our team is full of gu niang girls... we don't wanna sweat so much... or run around in the heat. so... one of the 1st things we decided as a team was that we were going to hire a cab to take us around! the rules never said that we could not hire a cab... our only condition was that we do not spend more than the amount of money given to us... which we didn't.

He's the best... he got into the game together with us, and helped us answer the questions. Then, he even called his friend up to ask where were the locations. Anyway, he was really nice... and even told us that the 1st taxi driver that took us around was trying to cheat us... and didn't charge us so much...

We won a prize! even though we didn't get 1st prize... sob sob... we got "Most Cooperative Team" :)
